Congrats on the opportunity to bring new life into Selina Kyle! Excited to experience your take. She's been my favorite fictional character since I was like 4. I'm curious to know what aspects of her character you're the most drawn to & what do you wish to potray/accomplish with the story you're planning to tell?
If I had to choose a cover I'd have to go with noobovich's... I'm a sucker for pink.
similarly I have been in a mood when it is hard to focus on anything for more than few minutes or get me excited. I do love Funny Games (1997), it is such a crazy movie. I have one movie to watch I have known nothing about (a friend lent me a copy),: Revenge (2017). Sometimes such movies are the best. Late autumn is time for reading and I am very much enjoying In Search of Tito's Punks (On the Road in a Country That No Longer Exists) by Barry Phillips. It is road trip book with interviews of more and less prominent actors of the punk scene in late Yugoslavia, written by a one time bassist from a providential British punk band (Demob) whose song "No Room For You" is enjoying some kind of cult status in this area.
And of course what is autumn without music: My most steady CD that is spinning this autumn is Chelsea Wolfe's "She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She". Sounds pretentious right. But it feels right. What have you been listening to?
And of course, congratulations on Catwoman release. Never imagined myself reading Catwoman, but now I am. And it feels good too. All cover looks spectacular (and I really like enjoy the minimalism of Daniel Sampere variant) so if you have any left lying around, it would be very much appreciated.
Watching Star Trek TNG through with my parents for the first time, as well as Outlaws, a fantastic BBC comedy/drama. Reading In Any Lifetime by Marc Guggenheim m, a fantastic genre blending, gut-wrenching novel
There feels like there hasn’t been anything that I’m super excited for at the movies lately! We did see The Substance and while the body horror is nearly unwatchable it’s a fantastic movie and is really, really cool! For a totally different feel, I really liked My Old Ass with Aubrey Plaza.
Though, if you’re in the mood for something more classic, it’s spooky season and my partner says that’s time for Teen Witch!
In terms of reading, I’ve been in a much more novel space lately - been reading a series of novellas called The Murderbot Diaries about a security android who is owned by a company for the sole purpose of protecting/killing but has hacked the tech that controls him so he can watch TV all day instead.
Really love the Frank Cho and Sampere covers! Hope you find some really cool media to grab your attention!
I’m so excited to read this! I would love a Homare cover but would be happy to get any of them! Please do another show with Omar on NMC sometime soon. Those are always so fun to watch and I’d like to hear you guys talk about Catwoman!
Why do I feel like Steve Wands is doing overtime removing your swearing, T?
I'm mostly going to be very basic with films everyone is likely telling to watch.
If you havent seen Rebel Ridge (Netflix), I cannot recommend it highly enough. It isn't what you think it will be and the central performance is truly gripping.
Definitely no swearing, but The Wild Robot is as good as everyone has been saying. It makes me think of what the robots in Laputa: Castle in The Sky were up to. I don't mention anything in the same breath as a Ghibli film lightly.
Hope you have a great time, perplexed or otherwise, this weekend. Your work continues to delight. Thank you.
How exciting!!! I cannot wait to pick up my copy this weekend (the comic store is near our roller derby rink so I'll hit it up when I go to our game!). Tini's run was the first Catwoman series I ever read and sticking with it now that you're taking the reins is a no-brainer! I also can't wait to see your She-Hulk story! <3 Glad you're keeping busy with fun things!
(As for movies, I recently saw this year's vampire flick Abigail, which was DELIGHTFUL and extra gooey. I'm also watching The Mentalist lately, a very fun procedural drama.)
Catwoman #69 was fantastic! Excited to see what you have in store for Selina/Catwoman. I’d love a signed Homare cover. So many great covers but that would be my pick.
I'd like a signed copy of the frank cho cover, love your work torunn and love love when when you've been on the near mint condition YouTube channel with omar
Your first issue was so great and exciting! Congratulations and thank you to you and the whole team on this book. I would love the Cho cover - but don't mind if I don't get picked, thank you for sending these out to people!
That main cover is awesome!!. I loved your Carnage and in fact I've been tasked with the introduction of the second Spanish trade.
I know you probably can't afford to send me a copy to Spain but hey, It was worth a try.

That was fantastic! Awesome job! Any cover would be great but my favourite would probably be the Frank Cho one!
